Restore a ProNest database
Restoring a ProNest SQL Server database from a backup file can be done from the machine that is hosting ProNest Server.

Restoring a database will overwrite the entire existing ProNest database. Potential data loss may result. Be sure to back up the existing database before restoring.

Database restoration is an advanced type of action that is normally only done by a database administrator. Please contact us if you need assistance with this process.
Restore a backup of the ProNest database
- Run
C:\Program Files\Hypertherm CAM\ProNest Server\RestoreTool.exe
. - Select the browse button (...), then point to the database backup file (.BAK) that was created previously.
- Select Make a backup of existing data first if you want to back up the ProNest database before you restore.
- Select Restore.
